For this trip, we’ve booked the entire Buda Mar hotel exclusively for our group. It’s right on Zipolite Beach, so we’ll have our own private base with the pool, restaurant and beach just steps away.

Zipolite is one of our favourite naturist destinations anywhere in the world. It has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, great food, beautiful sunsets and, of course, Mexico’s only officially legal nude beach.

We wanted this trip to feel less like a formal tour and more like a group of friends experiencing Zipolite together.

During the four-night getaway, we’ll have a welcome dinner, beach yoga, a visit to Playa del Amor, a mezcal tasting, beach activities and lots of time to relax by the pool or explore Zipolite at your own pace.

There will also be optional local adventures available, including a marine safari, snorkelling, a bioluminescent lagoon, waterfalls and a baby turtle release.

The trip takes place just before the Zipolite Nudist Festival, so anyone who wants to stay longer can continue into the festival afterward.

We’ll be hosting the getaway ourselves, along with our local friend and Zipolite expert Francelli Rentería, who will help us experience the destination beyond the usual tourist spots.

Solo travellers are absolutely welcome, along with couples, friends and naturist families. The trip is friendly, social and completely non-sexual, with a strong focus on consent, privacy and making sure everyone feels comfortable.
