Just as another thought - how about a forums announcements / suggestions group? That way we could request new features and you guys can announce new features that you're introducing. It's a great way to get involvement from users where you can get free feedback about how users see the website and you can then find out what niggles we have when navigating the forums. Just to start things off - how about adding a night mode in the settings so that when I'm browsing at 3am I'm not being blinded by a bright white page lol

@alannamckenna @alannamckenna Hi Alanna, I don't know if you're aware of this, so do please forgive me if this was something you already knew about, but if you search for the AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation) they have a website which lists various locations across the States where you can partake in (legal) clothes-free time. Florida is definitely a great place for nude beaches with several along the coast close to the Spaceport. So you could be nude on the beach and at the same time watch a Falcon 9 launch! Alternatively, if this ends up being easier in terms of logistics, but a vacation here in Europe might be a more prudent idea as we have hundreds of free beaches where you can strip off, safe in the knowledge that you won't see colleagues or family on the neighbouring textile beach lol Spain I would suggest to be the best for beaches, France is awesome for stunning campsites in the middle of nowhere, and Germany / Austria offer nude spa facilities so you can sauna as originally intended, without your swimsuit getting in the way. Italy is less nude-friendly but does have some designated nude beaches, or you could try places like Greece and the Istria coastline where nude recreation is pretty common. The UK has some great beaches and sun clubs you can visit - British Naturism is a great place to check out what's available. Obviously wherever you do choose to visit do please check out the local laws as some countries are more uptight than others. Best to check the local Naturist Association's website for whichever place you decide on.

@alannamckenna What I was actually going to contribute to this I've already answered to you in your other post on the Welcome forum. Hopefully you find the info in there useful :) To answer the more specific questions - People can't usually tell if you're new unless you act really nervous. That said there is an expression called "cottontail" which is used to describe people with tans but white bits where they frequently wear swimsuits whilst tanning. Find somewhere that is a respectable distance away from other people so you don't invade others personal space. Simply get yourself set up (towel, sunscreen, parasol if you have one), food etc) so you're comfy and strip to your swimwear - then strip off at your leisure when you realise you are the odd one out lol Do please make sure you take a higher SPF for your areas that haven't seen the sun yet. It's possible you use an SPF 15 or 30 for your skin normally, but for the bits that are usually hidden please please use an SPF50 for those regions. The last thing you want is sunburn in places that never usually see the sun. It's unusual for people to stare - a common theme that is promoted among nudists is that it's ok to look to notice where people are but it's rude to stare at them. It can also sometimes be that someone might be reading but you think they're staring when they're probably not. If you're uncomfortable then it's perfectly ok to slip your costume back on or to change the angle of your towel so it's harder for that person to look at you. As for whether you can take more affirmative action depends on you and the beach you are on. If it's an official one then there might be people there in an official capacity who can help out. Another option is to see if you can post online in a nudist forum (one which is specific to your local area) to see if there's a group going on the same day as you, in which case you could join in with them which will then give you safety in numbers. And honestly don't worry about how you look in or out of your swimwear. I have seen all sorts of differently built bodies over the decades, from young to really old, and one thing you learn as you get more experienced is that whilst we all have anxiety about how our bodies look to others, this is exclusively in our heads. Nudists are the most welcoming and accepting group of humans I've ever had the privilege of socialising with, and I'm someone who doesn't make friends lightly. I hope this helps with your own thoughts but to give you an anecdote of personal experiences when I was with my last ex she developed breast cancer in 2012 and spent most of 2013 going through surgery, chemo etc to help her recover. The surgery involved the removal of tissue in one boob and a reconstruction which involved taking muscle from her back to replace the tissue that was removed. By 2014 she was back on the nude beaches in Spain, and when we were going to a local sun club in 2017 / 2018 she had no issues with going bare and everybody there accepted how she looked with good grace. To answer your last question - my first time was solo, I've had many other times solo but I've also been nude with an ex and various friends over the years. I've also been in situations where I was the only one nude among friends, as well as being nude with friends where I was with several who were nude and several who were clothed. So it's a properly mixed bag for me.

I have to say I share a similar viewpoint to BeachBum above. 99% of beaches are already marked as nude beaches on map apps (whether official or unofficial) so why spoil the privacy afforded to less well known ones and thus give regulars the freedom to enjoy the beach free from gawkers? For anyone new to naturism there are already a ton of beaches across the world which are well known, so why not point them towards an official beach for their first time to get them into truly social nakedness? I just think that there's very little of our coastlines left now that are unexplored so there's no harm in keeping a private beach private.

In my case it was as a young teenager on the Isle of Wight in the UK back around 1985/86ish. I had gone on holiday there with my parents and they gave me free rein to go explore wherever I wanted - I just needed to be back at the accommodation in time for the evening meal. So we were staying at a small town called Ventnor to the south of the island and I decided randomly one day to go for a walk to get away from the masses. I was around 14 / 15 at the time and already had some issues of H&E at home which were going some way to educate me that nudity didn't have to equate to sex. After walking some distance I was well away from Ventnor and on a stretch of coast which wasn't accessible by road or visible from any nearby roads. It was summer and I'd taken a towel and a few basic things for the day (sunscreen. water etc) and got to a place where I just chilled. I got to a point where it was too hot and as nobody else was about I just shucked off my swimsuit and enjoyed a couple of hours of nude laziness (with some occasional skinny dipping). Just to add some context - my parents were pretty uptight in terms of body image. Dad was less bothered about walking around nude upstairs but mum properly gave me body image issues and insisted I cover up all the time. Visiting the beach was that first step to freeing my mind from her damaging body image issues and from then on I insisted on getting to a nude beach every summer and Studland Beach (as well as a few others) became a regular place for me. I didn't really get the "scary first five minutes" like some others get because I was on my own where I was. Going to a public nude beach I had already got the experience of being naked on a beach so whether others were there or not didn't have the same impact. I'm at a point now where I love the freeing sensation that much that where I was at the local Spanish nude beach whilst on holiday I would get naked at the car park before we all (my ex and our kids) headed to the sand - saves getting sand in a wet swimsuit!

So excited for this! Looking forward to meeting some great people to plan future Wreck visits with. Hoping that this will be the first of many nude cruises.
