Australian Nude Beaches

[J]: Earlier this year, after a beautiful lunch at a local fancy restaurant celebrating a milestone in our marriage I suggested to my partner that we go for a swim. Unknown to her, I had already prepared all that was necessary for such an activity. “ I didn’t bring any swimming gear” she replied.
“Well, if you up for a nudie swim we can do Cobblers!” I was fully prepared for her to back out, but she has much more courage than I have, and was totally up for it.
I still wasn’t totally convinced that I was up for it as I this would be my first time at a nude beach and was fully prepared to turn back at the last possible minute. Arriving down at the beach, initially a flat grassy area, it was fairly busy but the almost immediate impression I got, was that nobody was judging you and what you looked like. We descended onto the beach and found a free pace roughly in the middle of the beach. A lot of the couples from my observation seem to be camped out down by the western end of the beach, but there wasn’t much space left, so we took what was available.
As a naturally shy person, I have in my later years tried to challenge myself……issues that most of the time, purely existed in my head. The most immediate sensation was a how normal or natural it felt stripping off amongst all these people. There were all sorts of people there across a wide demographic, and was a completely liberating. Although the beach was dominated by men at a ratio I would estimate at about 4:1, I didn’t deal uneasy or the need to be protective of L.
We only spent roughly an hour at the beach, but it was totally cathartic for me, seeing people of all shapes and ages wandering around. Walking away from the beach, as it had started to get cool, I felt as though this, nude beaches or naturism is something I wanted to do all the time. Not a 100% percent sure if a naturist resort is something we would do yet, but certainly not eliminating it from possibilities.
On a somewhat surprising observation, there was not a lot of pubic hair to be seen across the entire demographic of beach goers.
